Synopsis
On Rowan's first day at Evercrest Group, an old woman stops him at the entrance: "I found you a perfect husband." Before he can refuse, he's dragged to city hall—and married to Lucian, the company's legendary cold CEO. "Let's get a divorce." "I won't agree." One is a hidden heir to a billion-dollar empire; the other is a CEO trapped in a contract marriage. Rowan thinks it's just a temporary arrangement—until he downs an entire bottle of liquor to save Lucian's deal and passes out on the curb. Lucian kneels down, cups his face, and whispers: "I've waited eighteen years for you." Rivals show up. Identities are revealed. A pregnancy scare follows. When Lucian slams their marriage certificate on the table: "I decided on you a long time ago." Rowan finally realizes—this marriage was never an accident.
