Synopsis
New Year’s Eve baby Ivy survives—but the cost is her parents’ divorce. Raised by her father, she loses him to cancer after the Carvers, her mother’s wealthy family, lock her away and make her miss his last moments. Vowing revenge, Ivy enters the Carver home as a caregiver. There, she learns she has the same hereditary cancer, even as her own mother, Ruth, treats her with suspicion while mourning the daughter she thinks she lost. When Ruth’s young son needs a heart transplant, Ivy faces a final choice: cling to hatred, or give the ultimate gift to the brother she never knew—and let her mother keep living with the truth she can never tell.
