The Mafia King's Regret: She Saved Me, I Broke Her – Episode 9
Seven years ago, Elena, who was pregnant, donated part of her liver to her critically ill boyfriend Alexander. Later, Sophia used the surgery costs to coerce her, forcing her to leave under the reputation of being a gold digger. After the operation, Elena was left with a leg disability and made a living by scavenging in the slums with her daughter Nicole. Seven years later, she reunited with Alexander after saving Old Paul. Alexander still hated her for betraying him back then and humiliated her repeatedly, while Old Paul felt there was more to the story. Deep down, Alexander still loved Elena and secretly looked after her. In the end, the truth came to light. The two resolved their misunderstandings, and with their daughter Nicole's matchmaking, the lovers finally ended up together.
