Episode 23 / 4444 episodes
At just five years old, Millie has learned one rule: every sound has a price. Her father, Grant, is an actuary who charges her for talking, laughing, and even crying. One stormy night, a burglar breaks into their home. Millie wants to scream for help, but she can't afford the noise fee. By morning, she's lying unconscious in a pool of blood. To save her, Millie's mother and aunt let Grant believe she's dead. Only then does he realize what his cruel rules have done. He destroys the noise meter and desperately tries to bring his daughter home. But even if Millie still loves her dad, can she ever stop being afraid of him?
